At Richmond Community College, we have 50 years of experience meeting the specific needs of our students and impacting the community around us. As a part of the North Carolina Community College System, Richmond Technical Institute opened in 1964. In 1980, the name was changed to Richmond Technical College, and, in July 1987, it became Richmond Community College, offering technical school resources along with the expanded programs of a community college.

Today, RichmondCC serves approximately 10,000 students, with about 30 percent enrolled in curriculum programs and nearly 70 percent in workforce development programs. At RichmondCC, we offer more than 60 degrees, diplomas and certificates, along with college readiness courses, online classes and adult education services.

It has always been our mission to provide lifelong education opportunities that better our students’ lives, and we live that calling out by offering a number of unique programs for students in all stages of life. Schedule a date and time to tour RichmondCC's beautiful campus. You may schedule to have a campus tour starting Feb. 17 through April 30, with various times and dates in between. Whether you’re familiar with our academic programs or just looking at your options for college, we encourage you to come visit Richmond Community College at our campus in Hamlet or Laurinburg. Sister Hazel - Fidelity Bank Rock N Country Series Performance

Originating from Gainesville, Fla., Sister Hazel emerged onto the rock scene in 1993 with elements of jangle pop, folk rock, classic rock and Southern rock. Their song "All for You" topped the adult alternative charts during the summer of 1997, and its success propelled their album to platinum status. The group got a nod from country music fans when their 2016 album, “Lighter In The Dark,” landed at No. 4 on the country charts. The band landed on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart again in 2016 with “Unplugged From Daryl's House Club” at No. 75. In February 2018, “Water,” Volume I of a collectible compilation series titled “Elements,” landed at No. 9 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and at No. 2 on Billboard’s Independent Albums chart. The band also also made their debut on the most revered stage in country music, the Grand Ole Opry. Sister Hazel is comprised of five gifted, seasoned musicians whose well-spring of natural talent has been called "one of the Top 100 Most Influential Independent Performers of the last 15 years" by Performing Songwriter Magazine. "An American in Paris" DeWitt Series Performance

Hoping to start a new life, World War II veteran Jerry Mulligan chooses newly liberated Paris as the place to make a name for himself as a painter. But Jerry's life becomes complicated when he meets Lise, a young Parisian shop girl with her own secret, and realizes he is not her only suitor. Country Music Star Phil Vassar DeWitt Series Performance

Country music artist Phil Vassar returns to the Cole Auditorium, celebrating 20 years of chart-topping hits while on his “Hitsteria Tour.” Vassar was racking up hits on the radio long before he even began his own recording career that has seen the release of six albums, two ASCAP Songwriter of the Year trophies, ACM’s Top New Male Vocalist and sold-out shows across the country. His reign of signature songs include 10 No. 1 singles and 26 Top 40 hits, including "Carlene," "Just Another Day in Paradise," "Six-Pack Summer," "When I Love You" and many more. Vassar's songwriting career blossomed in the mid-’90s when he landed a publishing contract with EMI and penned hits for Collin Raye ("Little Red Rodeo"), Alan Jackson ("Right on the Money"), Tim McGraw ("For a Little While"), Jo Dee Messina ("Bye Bye, Alright"), and Blackhawk ("Postmarked Birmingham").
